Loubna Ayouche is a Moroccan multidisciplinary artist whose work deliberately moves away from strict realism. Rather than simply reproducing what she sees, she transforms reality through memory, imagination, emotion and personal perception.

Faces, places and moments often become the starting point for her work, but each is reinterpreted through a considerate artistic language that moves between abstraction and figuration.

“I don’t want simply to reproduce what I see. I want to transform it through my own eyes, memories and imagination. That is where creativity begins for me.”

Rooted in her Moroccan heritage and shaped by a life lived across Africa, Europe and Asia, her practice explores identity, belonging and memory through painting, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics and textile-based work.
